Anthony-James Owen is the founder of Guerrilla Marketing Group and a lifelong martial arts practitioner with over 51 years of experience in Karate-Do. Beginning his training at age 5 in Germany in 1969, Owen progressed rapidly through the ranks, competing nationally and internationally. He was selected for the German national youth team and trained under renowned senseis Hideo Ochi and Tatsuo Suzuki. Owen spent significant time in Japan during the 1980s studying traditional karate and living in a zen monastery, experiences that profoundly shaped his business philosophy. After retiring from professional competition in 1988, he transitioned to a successful career in IT and later founded his marketing firm, applying zen principles to modern business practices.
